About Ingrid Service Point
Ingrid Service Point the PUDO (Pick-up Drop-off) platform is a scalable SaaS solution designed to unify carrier services into a single platform, enabling retailers to manage multi-carrier logistics from one interface. By integrating various delivery providers, the platform simplifies operations, drives foot traffic, and increases revenue for large retailers. The initiative capitalizes on existing logistics infrastructure and consumer demand for flexible delivery options. Ingrid Service Point is a fully owned subsidiary of Ingrid. However, given other strategic focus and ICP it operates independently with separate P&L requirements.
Job Overview
The Vice President, Business Unit Lead for Ingrid Service Point will take full commercial and operational ownership of the platform. The role involves having the overarching responsibility and P&L accountability for the business unit. This includes setting strategic goals, driving business growth, expanding into new markets, managing key customer relationships and a small team of P&T staff. This Business Unit Lead will ensure that the platform’s sales, customer success, and operational processes align with Ingrid’s overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Commercial Leadership
- Define and execute a business strategy for the PUDO platform, establishing clear goals and measurable targets.
- Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key partners
- Create long-term sales plans with revenue targets, ensuring profitable business growth.
2. Sales & Business Development
- Drive direct sales efforts, including identifying prospects, creating proposals, and negotiating contracts.
- Secure major deals and develop partnerships with retailers and logistics providers.
- Collaborate with internal Ingrid teams to ensure smooth contract implementation and customer onboarding.
3. Customer & Account Management
- Initially run account management, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction and long-term retention.
- Serve as the main commercial point of contact for clients, addressing business-related inquiries and supporting account growth.
- Lead customer expansion initiatives by promoting new features and services.
4. Product & Market Development
- Act as a business owner for the platform by identifying market opportunities and suggesting product enhancements based on customer needs.
- Lead a small product and technology team and guide product roadmap development.
- Ensure continuous product development aligned with customer expectations and industry trends.
5. Operational & Team Leadership
- Build and lead a dedicated team (dotted) responsible for commercial operations, business development, and customer success.
- Establish scalable internal processes for sales, customer success, and service delivery.
- Work cross-functionally with Ingrid marketing, and product teams to deliver exceptional results.
Professional Experiences
- Leadership in P&L Ownership– Proven experience in a senior leadership role with full responsibility for profit and loss, ideally in a SaaS, logistics, or e-commerce-related business.
- Experience from SaaS, Logistics, or E-commerce – Solid sector expertise and strong background in B2B SaaS, logistics or e-commerce space
- Market Expansion & Business Growth – Track record of successfully expanding a business unit into new markets, driving revenue growth, and establishing long-term partnerships.
- Sales & Business Development Expertise – Direct experience leading enterprise sales efforts, negotiating high-value contracts, and securing strategic partnerships.
- Strategic Account Management – Background in managing and growing key customer relationships, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Product & Market Strategy – Experience in aligning product development with customer needs and industry trends to drive competitive advantage.
- Data-Driven & Analytical Thinking – Skilled in leveraging data insights for decision-making, tracking performance metrics, and refining business strategies.
- Operational Leadership – Ability to build, structure, and lead small but high-performing teams with a hands-on approach.
