About the role
As an Integration Specialist at Ingrid, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless connections between our cutting-edge products and our diverse ecosystem of merchants, partners, and carriers. Your responsibilities include:
API Expertise: Gain a deep understanding of Ingrid's APIs documented at developer.ingrid.com. Guide merchants and distribution partners (PSPs, eCom platforms) through the integration of Ingrid’s products.
Data Flow Mastery: Navigate the intricate data flow within the eCommerce ecosystem. Facilitate communication between eCom platforms, Warehousing Management Systems (WMS), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems to streamline order processing and fulfillment.
Onboarding Support: Act as a technical expert during the onboarding of merchants and partners. Ensure a smooth transition by assisting with integration challenges and providing timely solutions.
Solution Engineering: Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand merchant needs. Develop comprehensive plans for Ingrid to meet and exceed merchant expectations, reducing go-live delays and enhancing merchant satisfaction.
Global Expansion: Contribute to Ingrid's global expansion by staying informed about carrier integrations. Understand end-to-end processes when merchants send API calls, including interactions with carriers, to optimize efficiency.
Proactive Leadership: Embrace a 'can-do' attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Demonstrate technical architectural understanding and orchestrate projects in a structured manner.
- Technical expertise in understanding and implementing APIs, particularly in an eCommerce context.
- Proven ability to support sales teams, ensuring alignment between merchant needs and Ingrid's capabilities.
- Project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Previous experience in a fast-paced remote-first work environment.
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
- Familiarity with the intricacies of data flow within a headless eCommerce setup.
- Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of carrier integrations and global shipping logistics.
