About Ingrid

E-commerce grows double digit each year. But still, deliveries are the single biggest problem for consumers. Almost half of all checkouts are abandoned due to shipping problems, equalling 2,000 billion dollars.  At the same time, we are facing a huge technology shift in last-mile deliveries with faster fulfilment, crowdsourcing apps, predictive shipping, digital locks, drones, self-driving trucks and food delivery platforms. In this shift, Ingrid provides consumers with a much better shopping experience through an intelligent choice of delivery and flexible last mile deliveries - on their terms.

Ingrid has developed an easily integrated shipping choice selector that helps millions of consumers at some of the largest e-retailers in the Nordics like Apoteket, Adlibris, Footway, Odd Molly and others to increase their conversion through a simplified and intelligent shipping flow.

Our algorithms automatically adapt deliveries to consumer needs and behaviours by analyzing data such as consumer preferences, customer segmentation, time, geography, product category, neighbours behaviour, etc.

About the role

Let’s be honest - developers are not testers. Most of the developers don’t have skills required for testing, don’t have enough self-discipline or [insert your developer excuse here]. Ingrid has a big team with many great developers, but only one great tester. We desperately need one more!

Development speed is our main advantage when it comes to beating the competition and is something that we are really proud of and cherish fully. Speed is what helps us validate an idea fast, speed is what helps us keep our customers happy and speed is what helps us keep momentum going. But by going fast you also have to make sure that you stay on the road, that you don’t bump into something or hurt someone. Crash and burn.

We are looking for someone to help us with this as we, ourselves, don’t have enough knowledge, capacity and time. We need someone who tells us to wear a seatbelt and to drive responsibly. Someone who checks the tire pressure and lights before each road trip and makes sure the engine is working as it should when Pawel slaps on a new Turbo system.

Everyday, we try to trim our engine, in order to make it more powerful, by adding more logic and input parameters. The logic of understanding the whole is starting to get quite complex. There are too many factors/parameters involved by now. We need someone who can understand this and tell us why something is now working as we expect it to. We need someone to prove us wrong.

Does it sound exciting? Are you the one we are looking for? Are you willing to accept the challenge? If YES, then GREAT! Please get in touch with us asap!

Office and culture

We currently operate from Stockholm, Sweden and Wrocław, Poland.

Culture is very important to us at Ingrid and we take it very seriously. After all, it’s people that make the company, not software.

Our teams thrive from a dynamic work process using the latest technology and we aim to provide any tool necessary for each coworker to reach their ambitions. We try to eliminate unnecessarily long meetings and instead focus on getting stuff done. It’s just more fun that way!
